Elizabeth M. Chase, 102, of West Point, died at 12:25 am Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Indiana University Health.
She was born December 21, 1913, in West Point, to the late Ed and Anna Marks Reeves.
Elizabeth attended West Point School. On May 16, 1936 she married Clifford D. Chase, he passed away on October 15, 1973.
Mrs. Chase was a member of the West Point United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Shawnee # 523 OES and West Point Golden Oldies. She enjoyed watching sports and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. The time spent with her family and friends was her greatest joy.
Surviving are a daughter, Shiela (Henry) Killian of West Point; two sons, Jack (Kay) Chase of West Point and Thomas Chase of Rockville. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Robin (Bob) DeVault, Terri Davis, Steve (Nina) Gooden, Anita (Bob) Bowen, Matt (Amy) Chase, Darren (Dusti) Chase, Breann (Joe) Fink, Chris (Jessica) Chase, Michelle Sharp and Sarah Chase; along with 23 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd Lafayette, IN 47909 with Rev. Jeff Stedge officiating. Burial will follow at West Point Cemetery.
