Elizabeth Ann Jones, 88, of Romney, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at her residence.

She was born May 25, 1936, in Lafayette, IN, to the late Francis and Margaret (Holwerda) German.

Elizabeth graduated from Jackson Heights High School.

In May of 1954, she married Paul K. Jones and he preceded her in death.

Elizabeth was a bus driver for the Tippecanoe School Corporation for many years as well as farmed alongside her husband in Romney.

Elizabeth formerly attended Jackson Height Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening.

Surviving are four grandchildren, Ryan M. Butler, Justin Butler, Josh Butler, and Alex Tetrick, four sisters, Mary Lou Berry of Lafayette, Patricia (Frank) Boardman – Allen of MI, Barbara (Jim Hartwig) Massing of FL, and Kathy (George) Roach of Indianapolis. Also surviving are several great grandchildren.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters, Karen Tetrick and Sheryl A. Butler and a son, Carl Jones.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of the service at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Romney, IN.
