Sorry to hear of Ed&s death. We met him when we all went to Hawaii four years ago for the Purdue football game. Since then we have seen Ed at several Purdue Mens basketball games at Mackey. We enjoyed Ed&s company and seeing his smile. Our deepest sympathy.

My prayers go out to all of you in this time of heavy grief ... May God lift you up and give you His strength in these coming days ... I worked with Ed for 11 years and we were very good friends ... Although he worked days in the mailroom and I worked nights in BB and VB offices we saw each other while working men &s BB games and I would see him as I was coming to work and he was heading home ., Judy , you may remember me as we met from you waiting on Ed in MBB office either before or after the game ... We were on the same ""team""... I will always remember Ed for his kindness , warmth and sense of humor !!! I was very blessed to be his friend...blessings... Debbie Bishir

You are in my thoughts and prayers. What a joy and blessing to have Eddie all these years. The truth is we are never ready to give them up!

Praise be to God this is not the end of the story!!!! There is eternal life in Jesus Christ. We will see Eddie again and John also. The fact that there is eternal life is sometimes the one thing that keeps me going. For the believer this world is not our true home we are just passing through.

My heart and love go out to your family. Johnny is very sick with this nasty flu that seems to be going around. If he is not able to come I won&t be coming up either. I know Johnny would like to be there for your family.

Your favorite sister- in- law in Bloomington!!

Mr. and Mrs. Stephenson and family-

My thoughts and heart goes out to you during this time of saddness. I saw Ed on a daily basis here at Mackey. He was always willing to give a helping hand or advice. haha. He was truly a good person who was fun to talk to and someone you could count on. I will miss him around here very much, but the good memories we have of him will live inside us forever and no one can take those away.

God Bless-

Words cannot express how saddened we were to hear of Ed&s passing. He was one of the most genuine, caring, people we&ve ever known. We will always remember all of the great times we had. We&ll be pulling for Mark Martin this season, just for him!

I am very sorry to hear of your loss! I work for FedEx Express and delivered packages to Ed for three years. He was a GREAT guy with a unique personality that always made me wonder what kind of comment he was going to come up with when I showed up with fifty boxes. He will truly be missed!!

It has been a long time since I have seen any of you. I used to live in the same neighborhood as you. Life and times seem to separate all of us, but I have the memories of childhood. Time was probably spent more with my younger brothers, Loren and Neil Smith, but I remember when they were all in cub scouts. I also remember walking by your house everyday walking to Edgelea. I just want you to know that I am thinking of you and wishing you the best. So sorry to hear about Eddie, and just remember that he will always be in your heart!
