Edna K. Stair

Edna K. Stair, 94, of Lafayette, died at 5:00 AM Thursday, October 20, 2011 at her residence.
She was born December 6, 1916, in Pierce County, ND, to the late Levi and Nellie Shock Cartwright.
She attended Hard Wheat School in Hard Wheat, ND.
On March 17, 1940 she married Richard D. Stair in Leeds, ND. He died June 6, 1992.
Edna had worked as a presser at Vogue Cleaners and as a sales clerk for Kresge?s.
She was a member of Dayton United Methodist Church, the Dayton United Methodist Senior Teens, Sheffield Homemakers Club and enjoyed reading, crafts, eating out and spending time with her family.
Surviving are a daughter Linda Stair of Lafayette, a son Richard E. Stair (wife Hazel) of Romney, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and 3 sisters.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 PM Sunday October 23, 2011 at Dayton United Methodist Church with a funeral service at 10:00 AM Monday, October 24, 2011 at Dayton United Methodist Church with Pastor Earl Owen officiating. Burial will follow at Wyandotte Cemetery.
Those wishing may contribute in her memory to Dayton United Methodist Church.

Good to see your family under not so good circumstances. Your Mom will be missed and from the coments in the audience it renewed my old memories. I remember when she and your Dad would attend some of our old school functions. Sorry brother/son Richard was so busted up. I know he will recover soon:)

94 is getting younger and younger. The music was moving. The very best to all of your family from ours.
