Eddie Jones passed away at 2pm Wednesday December 19, 2012 in Carbondale, Illinois at Memorial Hospital due to physical complications. He was a former resident of Lafayette and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Eddie was a friend to everyone he met, but did not have many true friends. He had a hard life but the last four years were probably the best. Eddie was accepted by the Neuro Restorative Facility in Carbondale, Ill. Where his friend and mentor, Jeff Frizzell and staff, guided his life for his last four years. Eddie will be cremated and his remains will be sent to his legal guardian, Ed Armstrong of Christ Methodist Church. There will be no services. The church will be in prayer for him. “The best is yet to come, Eddie. God bless you.”
