E. Darlene Ewing, 82, of Lafayette died Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Signature Health Care in Lafayette. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Ewing. She was born September 12, 1932, in Danville, IL, to the late William Warren and Mary Marguerite Wever Warren Stine. Darlene graduated from Georgetown High School in Georgetown, IL and Lakeview School of Nursing in Danville, IL. Darlene had worked as a Registered Nurse at Lakeview Hospital in Danville, IL and is retired. She attended Christ Church in Lafayette and was a frequent donor at the Red Cross Blood Bank. Darlene enjoyed playing cards, spending time with her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Surviving is her daughter Anne Marie Ewing of Lafayette, IN, a sister Ruth Anne Drummond, Lafayette, IN, a brother Scott W. Stine (Beth) of Stafford, VA and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 10:00-12:00 PM (Eastern) Saturday, July 25th at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Graveside service will be 2:30 PM (Eastern) 1:30 PM (central) at Sunset Memorial Park, Danville, IL.
