I&m deeply sorry for your lose. My family had been patients of Dr.Petrie&s since he opened his practice in Fowler. I adored the man. He is the last of a dying-breed..a wonderful, caring, small town doctor. I will never find a doctor like Dr. Petrie. He was my doctor and my friend. He was the complete package. Professional, knowledgeable, gentile, humble, and lots of humility. My family and I will miss him very much. He had a great sense of humor and he genuinely cared about his patients. During a few years, my family had no insurance. Dr. Petrie did whatever he could to ease that burden...he never turned us away, even if we couldn&t pay.He gave us samples when available to save money on prescriptions.. I really appreciated it...I hope he knew how much his kindness meant to us. We live in a time where most people dont care or will not help others....Dr. Petrie was not most people. He was a noble, caring, and giving man who will be sorely missed. God bless you Dr. Petrie. I will miss you.
Sincerely,
Kim Matson-Whitus

Our deepest condolences at this time.
Miller remembers Ray from their days in New Waterford as young men and when they were in early university. Over the years, Rays name would arise at ""hometown gatherings"" where many people knew him, and I would mention that I knew you from our days on the Quinan bus, traveling to school in Yarmouth.
Sincerely,
Doris and Miller MacSween
