Dorothy V. Clark, 95, of Lafayette died Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Rosewalk Commons. She was born July 18, 1919, in Ambia to the late Wilmer and Bessie Foster Ransom. Dorothy graduated from Ambia High School and on May 8, 1942 she married Dale Clark on her father's farm. Dale preceded her in death in August 2004. She and her husband farmed at Gladden's Corner in Lauramie Township for over 70 years. Dorothy was an active member of Stockwell United Methodist Church. She was a caring neighbor, loving mother and grandmother. Dorothy and Dale enjoyed travel and fishing in their active years. Surviving are her children Jill S. Thompson (Bruce), Nancy L. Stone (Michael) all of Lafayette, 5 grand children and 8 great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by a daughter Janette Clark. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM Sunday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, Rev. Mark Berg officiating. Interment will be at Concord Cemetery. Those wishing may contribute to Stockwell United Methodist Church in Dorothy's memory.
