Dorothy Lorene (Frost) Huddleston, 89, of Lafayette died Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at her home with family by her side.
She was born November 21, 1929 in Montgomery, AL to the late James Jackson and Rosie Ann Frost. She married Billy J. Huddleston Sr. on July 12, 1952 and he preceded her in death in 2005.
Dorothy worked for Pillsbury on the production line. She enjoyed reading the Guidepost magazine, cooking a long side her husband Bill, and baking. Her family said she made the BEST potato salad and banana pudding. Dorothy loved flower gardening!
She is survived by 3 daughters, Carol (Andy Jack) Brannen, Norma (George) Montes, and Phyllis Fletcher; a son, Billy Huddleston Jr. who died in 1998. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Along with her husband Bill, she was preceded in death by her parents, James and Rosie Frost.
Memorial contributions in Dorothy’s name may be given to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Visitation will be from 10:30 am until time of service at 11:30 am, Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Soller-Baker Funeral Home, 400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909 with Debra Frost officiating. Interment will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, 1718 W 350 N, West Lafayette, IN 47906.
