Donna May Prass, 83, of Nazareth, Pa., died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011, in her residence.
　
She was born May 7, 1928, in Lockport to the late Elmer and Dora Harris Hammer. She graduated in 1945 from of Jefferson High School and received her bachelor?s degree in 1975 from Purdue University.
　
As a child she lived in Carroll County, and in Lafayette from 1932-1950 and again from 1957-1976. She also had lived in Indianapolis, Fairfield, Calif., Anderson and Greenfield before moving to Nazareth in 2000.
　
On March 3, 1951, she married Richard Neil Prass in Bedford. He died March 11, 1994.
　
Mrs. Prass was a registered nurse and lab technician from 1958-1976 in Lafayette, and had worked at the Old St. Elizabeth Hospital and at the former Medical Arts Building. She was a Real Estate associate with Tucker Realty from 1977-2000 in Indianapolis.
　
Her hobbies included dressmaking, dancing, painting, and traveling, going twice to Italy.
　
Surviving are two sons, Claude A. “”Chuck”” Prass of Clinton County and Paul F. Prass of Bethlehem, Pa.
　
Also surviving are grandchildren, Austin and Angela Prass of Bethlehem, PA , Samuel Prass, Chesapeake, VA, Gloria East of Frankfort, Tanya Grice of Clinton County, Daniel Prass of Veedersburg, and Arthur Prass of Colfax; 10 great-grandchildren, Todd Prass, Cheyenne Prass, Alanis East, Dylan East, Reese East, Quentin Grice, Hunter Grice, Allison Prass, Allyssa Prass, Amaya Prass.
