Donald VH Totten Sr., 89, of Carmel formerly of Levittown, PA, died Tuesday at the Indiana Veterans Home. He was born September 11, 1924, in Buffalo, NY to the late John and Jane Totten. Don served in the United States Navy in WWII, aboard the Lansdale. On December 23, 1951 he married Sallie Lenrow in Ridgewood, NJ and she proceeded him in death on February 28, 2007. Donald worked for US Steel, in Pennsylvania, for 20 years and is retired. Surviving are his children Deborah Daley (James) of Carmel, IN, Pamela Totten of West Hartford, CT, Donald Totten Jr. of San Diego, CA, Peter Totten (Jeanette) of Yardley, PA, Jeffrey Totten (Deborah) of Englewood, CO, 9 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Also surviving is his sister Mary Lou Fleishig of Silver Spring, MD. Service and burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery.
