After my husband and I retired, Danny stopped in for a visit and we spent the afternoon remembering all the good times we had working together. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

Danny was an incredible bloke. He loved his family and his community and was loved by us all. When we arrived in Indiana from Australia in 1986, Danny and Carolyn took Sue and I in, and made us feel like members of the family. I will never forget bouncing along the back roads of Indiana with Danny, with corn on one side of the road and soy beans on the other side. I found out later that Danny couldn't understand a word I was saying due to my Australian accent, but it didn't matter. We were communicating nonetheless. Family gatherings, the Buck Creek fish fry, county fair, walks with the dogs, marvelling at V-8 powered log-splitters. It all left a strong and lasting impression on me. I like to think that I learned a lot from Danny, about just being nice, kind and friendly. We left Lafayette after I graduated from Purdue in December 1987, but I have always returned to visit over the years. I will continue to visit whenever I possibly can, and will always think of Danny even more whenever I do make the trip. Thanks for being a superb human Danny. You deserve a rest now. Lots of love to the Arihood family

I remember Danny when he would deliver fuel to Brand Electric, Inc. when I worked there as the Business Manager. He would bring the receipt to me for the delivery and always had a big smile on his face and ask how my day was going. He was a wonderful man and I'm sure he will be deeply missed by all. My deepest condolences to his family.
