Daniel E. Reynolds, 56, of West Point, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, at Lafayette Home Hospital.

He was born December 10, 1952 in Lafayette, IN, he was the son of Rosella Grace Felix Reynolds.

He has been with his life partner Tammy Luck for 15 wonderful years and her daughter Shannon husband Shawn and their children Stephen and Riley Record.

Dan is survived by his brother Dennis Harmeson wife Chris, nephews Michael, Dan Harmeson wife Nicole and their son Olin, and niece Kristy Akridge and her children Grace and Joey. He is also survived by his Aunt?s Shirley, Pat, Jane, and Maxine and their families.

Dan was a member of the Eagles 347, American Legion Post 500 and an American Legion Rider. He was a carpenter for over 30 years and had various jobs through his lifetime.

Dan enjoyed his music, fishing, golf, nature, and woodworking. He loved to ride his Harley with friends and traveling to new places. Dan was very loving to family and friends and will be sadly missed by all.

Please join family and friends for a celebration of his life on Tuesday, December 1 at the Eagles 347 on South 18th, Lafayette. Come casual and enjoy pictures and shared memories of his life from 4-7 PM.

Dear Tammy and all of Dan&s Family,

It was with shock and great sadness that we learned of Dan&s passing. I know you will miss him and my prayers will be for you to find strength in his passing by remembering how he lived. Please keep on doing the things that Dan so loved to do. Take him along for the ride. Enjoy those items and everyone they bring you in touch with. Life in this way is special and as we are often reminded so very short.

If at anytime you need anything please just let Todd or myself know and we will be there for any of you. If you ever need a place to get away and relax you can count on our place. What we have we offer to you.

God Bless all of you for I am certain that no matter if you knew Dan for 15, 25, or 55 years he made your life more meaningful in some special way.

I&m so sorry to hear this about Dan. He was more like a brother to me then a friend and what a wonderful person. We had alot of fun thru the years. I worked with Dan for along time and had a lot of good times at work.I&m sorry for your loss. He will be missed.

I certainly send my prayers to Tammy and Dan&s family. I know it&s hard to understand but I feel God had better plans for you. I will always remember the good times and how many times Dan helped me, whether it was to pick me up when there was so much snow I couldn&t get out of my driveway, fix my water heater or numerous other things or when he and Tammy gave their support to me when I was having a crisis. Dan was always a sharing and kind person who left us way too soon and those who know him, know he would always help you when you needed something.
