Dale Alan Barton, 53 of Lafayette, passed away at 8:50 pm on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at his residence.
He was born August 17, 1964 in Lafayette to the late Paul Harold and Doris Marie (Nickels) Barton.
Alan received his Associate Degree from Ivy Tech.
His marriage was to Belinda K. Sanders on August 18, 1992 in Mt Washington, KY and she survives.
Alan had worked 18 years as a CIP Operator at Ice Cream Specialties.
He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, mushroom hunting, sports and animals.
Surviving along with his wife are two sons, Chance and Tanner Barton both still at home and his sister, Carolyn (Stephen) Hall of Monticello. Alan was preceded in death by a son, Jared Barton.
Friends may call from 2:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 25 at Monticello Christian Church in Monticello. Rev. Chris Dodson will be officiating.
