Clifford D. Griffith, 81, of Rocky Top, TN, formerly of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020 at his home.  He was born May 20, 1939, in Wofford, KY, to the late Henry and Virginia (Fulkerson) Griffith.

On April 4, 1959, he married M. Kay Spurgeon in Lafayette and she survives.

Clifford worked for  A.E Staley for 40 years, retiring in 2004.

Surviving along with his wife are his children Randy (Reba) Griffith of Logansport, Cathy (Dale) Johnson of Rocky Top, TN, Jeff (Penny) Griffith of Lafayette, Jennifer (Jason) O’Brien of Lafayette,  Kim (Perrell) Arnett of Rockfield, 22 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.

Also surviving is his sister Edna James of Lafayette and a half-sister  and 3 half-brothers.

Clifford was preceded in death by siblings James, Henry, Albert, Jack Griffith, Mae Meredith and a half-brother.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd.  Due to Covid restrictions, a private service will be held on Friday.  Livestream of service will be available on Clifford’s web page at www.soller-baker.com. Interment will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette.
