Gary- thinking of you and your family during this time. Driving down the road home now will be sadder without that friendly wave from your dad. Nona and I both enjoyed that. Take care!

When I met Claude for the first time, it did not take long before our conversations turned to sports--more specifically, IU basketball and even our own high school playing days. Claude was such an engaging, fun-loving person who could enthrall you with his stories. His easy-going, unassuming personality strengthened our friendship over the years, and I'm grateful to have been one of his may friends. Condolences to Patty and Claude's family.

Claude was a great friend and special to be around. I will miss him dearly. Could not attend services because of the virus. He called me on Monday last week to good bye. Very sad.

So sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories working with Claude at Fairfield. Playing euchre at lunch was the best and that laugh! RIP

Taz was one of a kind.. never a dull moment on that awful 3 to 11 shift in the Grinders because of him... Many great fishing trips to Canada... Lots of reminiscing at Sheli's over breakfast after we retired... Never turned me down if I need anything. Could never understand why he was an avid IU fan... GO BIG RED
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Claude always treated me and my FMC co-workers fairly and made the drudgery of working nights in a factory fun. One of my fondest memories of Claude was the night I had my wisdom teeth removed earlier in the day. I was working on the wash tank because the plant was low on work, and I decided I could go to work with the help of the painkillers the dentist prescribed. He must have checked on me 20 times that night, making sure I was okay. He always looked out for his guys/gals. It was an honor to have known him!

I have never known anyone like Claude. So glad to have worked with him at Fairfield. He made that place fun. Except for the time he passed me going home while I was stopped a sheriff for speeding. He had everybody calling me Blue Light the next day. So sorry for the family's loss. Jerry the it won't be the same without him. Was at Rural King today and had to stop for a minute. I don't know how, but he was always there. He parked with a inch of my truck one time and started cussing about the sob that parked so close to him.. What a nut. Don Slagle

We were so sorry (and shocked) to learn of Claude's passing. He was what we considered a permanent fixture in the Dayton area, and we just thought he would always be here (for us and so many). Friendly and hard working; but I think one of his greatest accomplishments was his wonderful family that he and Diane raised; not a ne'er do well in the bunch. Claude will be deeply missed.
