Cheryl Sue Bryan, 65, of Lafayette, passed away at 10:30 pm Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born October 29, 1948, in Lafayette, to the late Cecil R. and Ireba P. Davis Horn. She graduated from Southwestern High School in 1966 and Indiana University School of Nursing in 1968. On April 11, 1970 she married Michael V. Bryan at Jackson Heights Church and he survives. Cheryl was an RN for Home and St. Elizabeth Hospitals, Arnett Clinic, Rea Magnet Wire and Liberty Mutual. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading and gardening. Surviving along with her husband are a daughter Jenniffer Mako (Dennis) of Portland, OR; a son Shanne Bryan (Tara Baunach) of Lafayette; a brother Roger Horn (Bonnie) of West Point; four grandchildren, Allison, Parker, Jade, and Dylan along with nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Jason, Annie, Hannah, Emma, Madeline, Grace and Kase. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 pm Monday, February 3, 2014 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel with a funeral service at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 4 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel 400 Twyckenham Blvd Lafayette, IN 47909 with Pastor Jason Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers those wishing may contribute in Cheryl's memory to the Riley Children's Hospital.
