Brittney Marie Brown, 26, passed Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 6:56 PM at St. Elizabeth East Hospital. She was born February 9, 1991 in Lafayette to Arthur and Terri Brown. Brittney was a girl of many talents. She loved to cook and bake and was all around very artistic. She showed horses at one time and was a lover of animals, especially her dog, Mason. But above all she was a great mother to her daughter. Surviving is her daughter Laynee Stanfield who lived with her and her fiancé, Jesse Stanfield, in Lafayette, her mother, Terri Brown of Lafayette and her father, Arthur Brown (wife Marianne) of Arkansas, a brother, Brandon Lee Brown of Arkansas, a sister, Kylie Sue Rossetter of Lafayette, her maternal grandparents, Linda and George Taylor of Lafayette, her future father in-law, Doug Stanfield (wife Josey) of Lafayette, mother-in-law Billi Gray of Lafayette, her aunts, Kim Pollard of Lafayette, and Jorja Haddock of West Lafayette, and her paternal grandfather Richard Brown of Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Joan Brown.  There will be a visitation Monday, September 25, 2017, from 2 PM until the service starts at 3 PM at Soller-Baker Funeral Home, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN 47909. Burial will follow the service at Wyandotte Cemetery.
