Bridget M. Wolfe, 38, of Delphi died Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at Indiana University Health in Lafayette. She was born February 6, 1975, in Lafayette to Richard Long (Rhonda) of Crawfordsville and Rita Farrell Wilson ( Doug ) of Lafayette. Bridget graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1993 and Purdue University in 1998. On March 7, 1998 she married Derik Wolfe in Lafayette and he survives. Mrs. Wolfe taught for Area IV Head Start in Carroll for 6 years and had coached Soccer in Carroll County. She was a cancer survivor and had been a Team Leader for the Relay for Life in Carroll and Tippecanoe Counties. Bridget received the Survivor of the Year Award for 2013 from Community Cancer Network. Surviving with her husband are her children Ariel N. and Caleb A. Wolfe both at home and a sister Christina Bradbury (Samuel) of Lafayette. Also survivng is her step sister Heather Taylor of Horse Shoe Bend, a step brother Doug Wilson Jr. of Lafayette, a brother-in-law Dane Wolfe of Cutler and a sister-in-law Mechele Blissett (Mark) of Brookston. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to a 3:30 PM service Friday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd.,Pastor William McLean II officiating. Burial will be at Rossville Cemetery. Those wishing may contribute to the Carroll County Cancer Fund.
