Brenda K. Wendling, 57, of Lafayette, died at 10:11 AM Sunday, December 11, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Central.
She was born April 19, 1954, in Lafayette, to the late Lawrence L. Sr. and Wilma Gregory Seyfried.
She attended Lafayette Jefferson High School.
Her marriage was to William Wendling Sr and he survives
Brenda was a NASCAR and especially Dale Earnhart fan, and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters Belinda White (husband Greg) of Mulberry, Shelly Wendling of West Lafayette, a son William Wendling Jr (wife Jennifer) of Dayton, two sisters Linda Kult of Lafayette,
Shirley Gunkle of Whiteland and 7 grandchildren – Matt, Michael, Katie, Jalen, Nathan, Jenna and Ciara.
She was preceded in death by a daughter April Wendling, a brother Larry Seyfried and a brother – in – law William “”Butch”” Kult.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 pm Wednesday December 14, 2011 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel 400 Twyckenham Blvd Lafayette, IN 47909.
In lieu of flowers those wishing may contribute to the American Lung Association 802 W. Wayne St Fort Wayne, IN 46802.
