On behalf of the Marquette Park United Methodist Church in Gary let me express sincere condolences on the death of your son, Brayden. Please know that your family will be kept in prayer by our church family. What a deep sorrow to lose a child so young. It is a sorrow too deep for words. Yet, God knows our pain and he is the Great Comforter. May it bring you some measure of peace to know that your precious baby boy rests in the arms of his heavenly Father. God will hold him securely in his arms throughout eternity. Although we cannot comprehend such sorrows still we trust in God?s promise that ?all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose? (Romans 8:28). God is faithful and will never leave or forsake us. Now is the time to place your trust in his unfailing grace. May he bring strength to your spirits and healing to your hearts.
May the grace and peace of Christ be yours,
Rev. Tracey D. Leslie

Words can not express the sadness that we feel in the loss of our little Brayden. But please know, that with the love of family and friends and with the grace of God, time will heal the hurt that our hearts feel. We may never understand why this happened, but always remember that God makes no mistakes and there is a beautiful little angel looking down on us from the Heavens above.
