Bob had a twinkle in his eye and I will always remember his good hearted teasing. What a gem of a man! It's hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember.

I am so sorry to hear about Bob. He was a regular at Nancy's Drive-In back in the 50's. He was a good friend of my Dad's and always teased me about marrying me when I was older. I was born in 1944 so I was pretty young at the time. I remember his sense of humor and friendly nature. I moved away after college and always wondered what happened to him after my Dad closed the drive-in. I'm glad he found happiness and had a great life and family. He was one special person that I fondly remember growing up.

To most, he was “Bob”, the happy guy who never met a stranger and was a lifetime friend to everyone he met, but to me he was dad. I never knew if he was serious or joking because he was always clowning around, telling jokes, laughing, and able to say the entire alphabet pretty quickly by making funny sounds for each letter and showing-off that extra talent to my children as they were growing up too. To dad, I was Michelle, the one he picked up after school on Tuesday afternoons to go out for a Coke and crinkle fries at Kresge’s soda fountain! We had so much fun and created a lifetime of loving and happy memories.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I’ll always remember you for your sense of humor, your laugh and ear wiggling. You’ll be dearly missed, but I know you’re up there in your rocking chair, tapping your toes to some jazz. I love you Grandpa.
