Betty G. Brenner, 96, formerly of Lafayette, passed away at 3:20 AM on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Morningside of College Park, Indianapolis. She was born August 1, 1919, in Lafayette. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1938. On January 17, 1942 she married Austin “Bus” Brenner in Lafayette, he passed away on March 26, 2013. She was a member of Christ Methodist Church and The American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid bowler in several different leagues at Star Lanes. Surviving is a daughter, Pam Sherwood of Indianapolis, a granddaughter, Amy Reever of Plainfield, a grandson, Christopher Sherwood of Plainfield and a great granddaughter, Miranda Reever of Plainfield. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Clarinda Crawford. Those wishing may contribute to The American Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.
