Beatrice Tyler, 82, of Lafayette, passed away Saturday January 12, 2013, at home. She was born September 30, 1930, in Trimble, Ky., to the late Clyde and Lola McDaniel Burton. On April 13, 1952, she married Albert Tyler in Boswell and he survives. Beatrice had been a cashier at A&P Supermarket in Lafayette for 19 years and then worked at General foods for 9 years. She was a member of First Assembly of God and had attended Church Alive. Beatrice enjoyed cooking, flower gardening and horse backriding. Surviving along with her husband are her children, Morris A. Tyler (wife: Debbie), Myrtle Kay McCoskey (husband: Lynn), Mark H. Tyler (wife: Patti), all of Lafayette; grandchildren, Chad and Andrea McCoskey, Shawn, Travis and Camille Tyler, Natasha Ramsey, Tana and Kara Tyler; and 2 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings, Hazine Felix (husband: Jim), of West Lafayette, Shirley Brown (husband: John), of Lafayette, Larry Burton (wife: Evelyn), of West Lafayette, Kathy Sarault (husband: Tom), of Fowler, and brother. She is preceded in death Dwain Burton. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Funeral Service 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Entombment will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
