Audrey McCue Gallagher, 84, of Lafayette, IN, died at 12:03 AM Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Signature Health Care. She was born December 3, 1928, in Yonkers, NY, to the late James and Harriet Quinn McCue. She graduated from Gordon High School in Yonkers, NY and on September 24, 1949 she married Hugh Gallagher in Yonkers. He preceded her in death on December 2, 1986. She moved to Auburn, IN in 1988, and worked at Gallagher's Greenhouse for 16 years. She then moved to Lafayette, IN. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Zuck, (husband Allen) of New Hartford, NY, and two sons, James Gallagher (wife Kris) of Auburn, IN and William Gallagher, (wife Susan) of Lafayette. There are two sisters, Jean Hermes (husband Donald) of Brick, NJ, and Riette Donaher of Los Altos, CA. Audrey has 7 grandchildren. Service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 26, 2013 at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, West Lafayette. Fr. David Buckles will officiate. Burial will be December 4, 2013 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorn, NY. Those wishing may contribute to the American Heart Association.
