He was and always will be ""Pop"" to me. A better man I have never known. So much of himself, always in humility and unselfishness, did he give to anyone fortunate enough to cross his path. I was one of those. There are times I could never forget. Times when he was the one who comforted me, prayed for me when I was not too good at it myself and even more times when he beamed his shining smile upon me when we met again. I will always thank God for his presense and inspiration in my son&s life as the most wonderful grandfather Christopher could have ever been blessed with.
Although I am many miles away today, my heart is tied in spirit with all who loved this very special man. May there be comfort and peace in the knowledge that he carries on with his strong spirit and everlasting love to be forever joined with his beloved wife, his children, grandchildren and all of the rest of of his family and friends from a place in his heavenly home...a home he steadfastly worked for and richly deserved to claim.

My deepest sympathies for your loss. My hope is for each of you to receive overwhelming portions of God&s Peace during this time of transition.
Please remember this is not a time of ending, but merely a time of change. A time when life on this earth is exchanged for new life, abundant and everlasting. My prayer is for God to receive your father and grandfather into the arms of His mercy, into the blessed rest of everlasting Peace and into the glorious company of the saints of light. We are so sorry for your loss. Mr. Brickler was a very warm and friendly man that welcomed our son into the family when he married Tori. Each time we saw him he seemed to enjoy life and spending time with his family. I&m sure each of you have wonderful memories and we hope those will bring you comfort.
