Amanda Jo Villarreal, 50, of Mahomet, IL passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Carle Foundation Hospital
She was born on November 24, 1974, in Lafayette, IN, to Armando Villarreal and Debbie Hicks.
On March 6, 2018, she married Octovia Kunza in Champaign, IL.
Amanda enjoyed playing games, running, singing karaoke, and watching scary movies.
Surviving is her mother Debbie Hicks of Lafayette Indiana, her wife Octovia Villarreal of Mahomet IL, and her children, Alexandria Hamel of Largo, FL, Nathan Hamel of Clearwater, FL, Jessica Lopez of Largo, Fl. Stepson, Terry Kunza of Mahomet, IL, Brother, Jay L (Lawnie) Villarreal of Rossville, IN,
Also surviving are her grandchildren, Abagail Koleski, Aurora Lopez, Estella Lopez, Nico Kiss, and Andre Kunza, her grandmother Lillie Tunis, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Amanda was preceded in death by her father Armando Villarreal who passed on 12/19/2020 and grandpa Franklin Tunis who passed on 02/07/2022.
