Albert Bosma, 88, of Lafayette, died at 11:21 PM Sunday, October 30, 2011 at St. Elizabeth East.
He was born April 2, 1923, in DeMotte, to the late Hendrik “Henry” and Lula Kingma Bosma.
On August 4, 1944 he married Anna Tiemens in Munster and she survives.
Albert was a farmer before retiring.
He was a member of Faith Church and enjoyed fishing, working and wintering in Texas.
Surviving along with his wife are three sons Henry Bosma (wife Lois), Larry Bosma (wife Lisa) both of Lafayette, Tom Bosma (wife Karen) of West Point; two daughters Annette Tillema (husband Dean) and Lois DeYoung (husband Ken) both of Wheatfield; 16 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a great grandchild and 4 sisters.
Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service at 12 noon on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Faith Church 5526 St Rd 26 E Lafayette, IN 47905 with Pastor Andy Woodall officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
