Adam Wireman, 88, of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025 at Franciscan Health Lafayette East.
He was born April 18, 1937, in Salyersville, KY, to the late Willie and Frances (Puckett) Wireman.
After high school Adam attended American Tech in Chicago.
On May 31, 1957, he married Janet Smallfelt in Medaryville and she survives.
Adam worked as a carpenter building homes for over 34 years before retiring in 2001.
He was a member of Brady Lane Church and enjoyed boating, fishing and hunting.
Surviving with his wife, Janet M. Wireman of Lafayette, are two sons, Rex M. (Denise) Wireman and Mark A. (Mary Jane) Wireman both of Lafayette. Five siblings, Farish (Josephine) Wireman, Martha J. Patton and Homer C. Wireman all of Rensselaer, Malva D. (Mark) Stevens of Francesville, and Rena Pikus of Mentor, OH. Also surviving are four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Adam was preceded in death by two brothers, Willie Wireman, Jr. and Morgan Wireman.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, with Jeff Keller officiating. Interment will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette.
