Arnold Verlyn Roudebush, 73, of Stockwell, died at 11:40 PM Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Regency Place. He was born March 20, 1939, in Lafayette, to the late John and Gladys Stingley Roudebush. Verlyn graduated from Lauramie High School in 1957 and on March 25, 1961 he married Donna Reagan in Stockwell and she survives. He worked at ALCOA for 40 years before retiring in 1999. Verlyn was a member of Stockwell United Methodist Church, ALCOA Retirees, was a volunteer fireman for several years and a Boy Scout Leader. He was an avid reader, Cincinnati Reds fan and enjoyed gardening. Surviving along with his wife are his children Alan Roudebush (wife Debra) of Braselton, GA; and Donita Stoll (husband Mike) of Attica; a sister Asenath Dye (husband Richard) of Escondido, CA; 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 4 nieces and 1 nephew. Also surviving is a sister-in-law Rita Fogel (husband Mike) and brother-in-law Duane Reagan (wife Debbie). He was preceded in death by a sister Celeste Short. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to a 1:00 PM service Tuesday at Stockwell United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Berg officiating. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery. Those wishing may contribute to the Stockwell United Methodist.

Donna and Family,
I would like to extend my sincere sympathy to you and your family on the loss of Verlyn. I met Verlyn in 1959 while working at Alcoa and from the limited time I worked with him he seemed like one of the nicest men I ever met.
I know you will miss him terribly, but seeing him in the nursing home could not have been easy.
